What is considered an emergency maintenance request?
Severe water leak or flood in apartment
No hot water
No heat in cold weather below 50 degrees
No AC in hot weather above 85 degrees
All toilets not working
Fire (Call the Fire department first)
Lock out (fee of $25 payable upon entrance)
For everything else, we will accommodate you during regular maintenance hours, Monday – Friday. Please see our maintenance page for common issues and the quick fixes to them.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the first of the month. If all rent is not paid on or before the third (3rd) of the month, the resident must pay a late charge of $25.00 on the fourth (4th), plus $5.00 per day thereafter.
How many days notice do I have to give to vacate my apartment at the end of my lease?
60 days notice must be given in writing and signed by all lessees.
What do I do if I decide to get a pet?
Please contact the office to fill out the appropriate paperwork. We allow cats only. Sorry no dogs. There is also a $200.00 deposit ($100 is non-refundable) and a monthly fee of $25.00.
How do I pay my water bill?
Your water bill is separately metered, so you are billed for what your household is using. You will receive a bill every month and it is payable to The Crossings at Avery in the office with your rent. If you are not receiving a bill please contact the office.
